DDC - First meeting Transnational Innovation Hub

For the first time, potential end users are introduced to the EU project Digitial DeConstruction aiming reuse and high quaility recycling of building materials. GTB Lab is initiator and project partner in the development of this digital decision support system that helps enabling a sustainable deconstruction and reuse strategies for buildings.

With this platform building owners, architects, engineers and deconstruction companies get access to an automated materials overview, reusability assessment and marketplace increasing residual financial and environmental value of the buildings and materials and upgrading designer and engineer skills.

The feedback collected from the Transnational innovation hub will help identifying, defining and prioritizing the user requirements. The hub is setup by the Belgian Building Research Institute (BBRI) to support the optimization, validation and rollout of DDC solutions.
