DDC 3rd Regional Innovation hub


Digital Deconstruction (DDC) 3rd Regional Innovation Hub Heerlen Organised by Dutch DDC partners Brightlands Smart Services Campus, Stadsregio Parkstad Limburg, Green Transformable Building Lab and Block Materials.






















Inspiring conversations and constructive feedbacks from divers stakeholders (architects, municipalities, regional governments, province, housing cooperation, contractors, manufactures, PhD and Master students) have marked the Dutch 3rd Regional Innovation Hub this week, around circular building and Digital Deconstruction in Heerlen Stadsregio Parkstad Limburg.

Participants were offered (during the RBIM (Reversible Building Information Modelling) workshop to experiment with DDC Platform presented by Annie Guerriero and Calin Boje from Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the RBIM and its application on digital inventory of reuse potential of materials within deconstruction pilot Roman Museum and new construction pilot GTB Lab, presented by Elma DurmisevicGreen Transformable Building Lab (GTB Lab) 4D Architects Amsterdam. During the second workshop, information about the material data base and Block chain has been shared by Erol OztanBlock Materials. The event ended with an interactive session moderated by Yanick Dols Smart Service Campus based on the Q&A.
